The Development of Scientific Modeling Skill Assessment for Grade 6 Students

The primary objective of this study was to develop and evaluate a scientific modeling skill assessment for grade 6 students in Thailand. comprised three test components: multiple-choice test, matching written which underwent rigorous evaluation through trial processes. A total 370 participants were randomly selected from 29 schools province Thailand using multi-stage random sampling method. results demonstrated that the developed exhibited appropriate content validity, difficulty, discrimination, reliability. Additionally, provided means determine students’ levels skills, ranging very high limited. By addressing absence systematic assessments specifically designed Thai students, fills significant gap educational context. practicality scalability make it suitable implementation with larger number participants. However, is important acknowledge limitation study’s relatively small sample size. Future research endeavors should aim replicate more diverse extensive enhance generalizability findings. Overall, project contributes field offers valuable insights promoting evaluating skills context education
